No one knows the exact date of Christs birth, but most Christians observe Christmas on December 25. On this day, many people go to church, where they take part in special religious services. Silent Night Silent Night is also commonly(adv.一般地） says Christmas Eve(n.平安夜） ,and In that night the family will get together in the sitting room to have a party. They will around the trees to sing Christmas carols and exchange gifts .Meanwhile they share the joys and sorrows of lives , express the wish and love. Christmas window Christmas is a wonderful time of the year . But holiday is in the air long before it came. The first sure sign of it is the windows of the stores. You have to be a child to know the wonder of a store window filled with dolls, sleds and other playthings. How exciting it is for people to walk down the street and see another store all ready for Christmas. Santa Claus It is said that Santa Claus  would drive sleigh  to send gifts for the children on Christmas Eve, he would enter  into the house quietly by the chimney（烟囱） and put presents in stockings ( 长袜) ,which hangs on the head of a bed .
