生产率对企业出口和对外投资行为的影响1 基于2003 年上海企业水平数据的分析 2 3 4 赵瑞丽 沈玉良 孙楚仁 (上海对外贸易学院国际经贸学院，上海，201600) 摘要：随着中国经济的增长和对外开放程度的加深，越来越多的企业开始走出去，以不同的 组织方式参与国际化（出口和FDI ）。国际行为的多元化使得将企业的出口和FDI 行为选择 纳入同一个研究框架成为必要。在此背景下，本文利用2003 年上海市企业水平数据从企业 生产率异质性角度考察了企业出口和 FDI 行为的影响因素，结果发现：（1）企业生产率与 FDI 出口选择负相关：生产率越高的企业，对外投资的可能性越小；生产率与出口正相关： 生产率越高，企业出口的可能性越大。所有权结构对出口选择行为有较大影响。（2）生产率 对企业对外直接投资额和出口都有显著的正向影响；（3）行业特性对企业的对外行为有显著 影响：在资本密集型行业，生产率对企业对外行为的影响程度要大于劳动密集型行业。企业 的出口行为符合异质性企业的预测，生产率高的企业进行出口。但是，FDI 行为则与新新贸 易理论的经典结果相反，生产率低的进行FDI 。这表明对于中国企业出口和FDI 的行为还需 进一步的研究。 关键词：企业生产率，出口，FDI，行业密集度 Export versus FDI with Heterogeneous Firms: Evidence from Shanghai Enterprises in China Ruili Zhao Yuliang Shen Churen Sun Abstract ：With the increasing of Chinese economy and deepening opening degree , more and more Chinese enterprises begin to “go out”, choosing different ways to participate in international behaviors (incuding export and FDI). With the diversification of international behaviors, it is necessary to analyze the export behavior and outward foreign direct investment in the same framework. In this paper, we investigates the influences of various factors on firm’s decision of export versus foreign direct investment using firm-level data from shanghai in 2003. We find the following evidences. First, the impacts of enterprises productivity on their choices between export and FDI are significant. Enterprises with lower productivity trend to engage in FDI, while those with higher productivity trend to export. Second, productivity has a significantly positive effect on both export and FDI sale.
