25 3 矿　冶　工　程 Vol.25 №3 2005 06 MINING AN METALLURGICAL ENGINEERING June2005 ① Cu-15Ni-8Sn-XSi 刘施峰, 汪明朴, 李　周, 郭明星, 王艳辉 ( , 410083) 　:、 Si Si (0.3%1.2%)Cu-15Ni-8Sn 。, , 3 , SiNi Ni Si 。, 3 Si, , , 。Si (0.3%), Si 1.2% , Si Sn , Sn 。 :Cu-Ni-Sn;;Si; :TG146.2 :A :0253-6099(2005)03-0073-03 A Study on Cast Structure of Cu-15Ni-8Sn-XSi Alloys Prepared by Vacuum Melting and Rapid Solidification LIU Shi-feng, WANG Ming-pu, LI Zhou, GU Ming-xing, WANG Yan-hui (Institute of Material Science and Engneering , Central South University , Changsha 410083,Hunan, China ) Abstract:The cast structures and component of vacuum melten and rapid solidified Cu-15Ni-8Sn alloyswithoutSi or with dif- ferent addition levelsof Si (0.3%and 1.2%)were studied by optical microscope, SEM and energy spectrum analysis.Itwas found that the alloys prepared by vacuum melting had coarsetreelike crystals, which apparentlywere in three layers.The addi- tion of Si refined thetreelike crystalsdue to the formation of Ni Si phase.Asfor the alloys prepared by rapid solidification, the 3 results indicated that their grainswere uniform and fine, the treelike crystals were almost eliminated, and the micro composi- tion was more homogeneous.As compared to the alloy with a small amount of Si (0.3%), themicro-segregation of Sn in the alloy with 1.2%Si grew in intensity because the solubility of Sn was suppressed by the addition of Si.
