PreRomanticism The 18th Century Literature in England The classification of 18th century English literature In the early 18th century, classicism was prevailed(盛行) In the 1720s, enlightenment literature developed rapidly In the middle of the 18th century, sentimentalism literature was popular In the late 18th century, preromanticism literature appeared Classicism The Enlightenment Movement brought about a revival of interest in the old classical works , it’s known as classicism.
