When long period earth quakes happen, the f luid w ill imp act t he w all of ves sel and make the react or dangerous. T he 3D finit e element model of the main vessel is constru cted using A DIN A, and the phenomenon of sloshing response to the free surf ace in the main vessel of fast react or excit ed by 3 sine w aves is simulated. T he impact pressure from this research has provided import ant loadings for the int egrality analysis of the main vessel. T he feasibilit y of simulating t he free surface flow and the advantage of dealing w ith FSI questions are validat ed.
