Firstly，the finite element method was used to calculate the cable unit length distribution parameters，and the effect of the skin effect and proximity effect caused by steel armor were calculated. Then，the transmission equation of the multiconductor was solved by the similarity transformation idea. Finally，the simulation results of seven-core armored cable with length of 3km were compared with the measured data，which proved the effectiveness of the model.
