Pre-learn Period 1: Comic strip Welcome to the unit 教 学 过 程 Task1.Lead in Teacher says, ‘Hello, everybody! Can you say something about youe hobbies?. What do you like to do in your free time? Listening to music or dancing? So today we are going to learn something about art world Introduce some new words to students Eg: pleasant adj. 令人愉快的 Drama n. 戏剧 Photography n. 摄影术 Musical adj. 音乐的 Talent adj 天赋，才能 3. Ask students to practice reading the words I introduced just now. Task.2 Presentation 1. Teacher asks, Do you still remember Hobo and Eddie? How are they this term? What are they talking about now? Let’s listen to the tape. (Play the tape for the Ss to listen to the dialogue between Hobo and Eddie.) 2. Ask some questions about it: 1.What is Eddie doing ? 2.Does Eddie love art ? 3.Is there anything more pleasant than art ? 4.What is it ?
