1. Linguistic objectives To practice our general skills of speaking, listening, reading, translation and writing by conducting a serious of activities related to the theme. Learning Objectives: 2. Academic objective: To practice our academic skills of searching information, oral presentation, listening and reading for information, summary, translation and academic writing. To have a command of legal vocabularies related to the theme. 3. Communicative objective To Stimulate our critical thinking and legal awareness by theme-oriented study and discussion. To prepare ourselves for further reading and writing related to the field. Starting point Plagiarism is using others’ ideas and words without clearly acknowledging the source of that information. In college courses, we are continually engaged with other people’s ideas: we read them in texts, hear them in lecture, discuss them in class, and incorporate them into our own writing. As a result, we should understand the concept of plagiarism and necessity of proper documentation to avoid unintentional plagiarism. The following two quizzes are designed to help you to have a better understanding of plagiarism and to prepare you for more language practice on plagiarism.
