Unit2 Working the Land (Period 2 reading)

Introduction: This period, after warming up and pre-reading, students could talk something about framing, but they knew a little about Dr. Yuan Longping. So they are curious to learn more about him. On this occasion, I try to make full use of students’ curiosity to learn this reading passage---A Pioneer for All People.
Teaching aims:
Enable Ss to learn more about agriculture, countryside and farming
Have Ss learn more about Dr. Yuan
