Life of Pi Life of Pi Life of Pi is an American adventurous drama film directed by Ann Lee, a Taiwanese-born American film director. He wins the Academy Award for Best Director again for this film. He is Pi in the movie ,and he is the protagonist The movie described an adventure on the sea. Pi was born in India .He believed in Christianity, Islam and Hinduism at the same time. Pi’s family moved to Canada by ship with the animals, because that Pis father wanted to take them to a foreign country to sell at good price. They boarded on the ship of a Japanese. Unfortunately, the ship experienced a similar accident of the Titanic. Pi’s family were all dead except him . He luckily fell on the lifeboat and survived, and there were other creatures in the same boat----a hyena ,a zebra with a broken leg, a monkey, as well as an adult Bengal tiger Richard - Parke . Zebra with broken leg. Hyena was hungry, so it killed the zebra. Monkey felt very angry that it went to fight with hyena. Richard Parke The tiger killed hyena. Next, the Pi’s survival story was about how to deal with Richard Parke. Of course, the drift also encountered storm, sharks and a variety of exciting and bloody scenes. They was going to die until they went on an island, which Had got a lot of meerkats and edible plants. But, the island is Cannibalism one at night. As a result, the class decided to leave the island.
