Methods One hundred and six tyfour residu al root s and crow ns of molars were t reated w it h root canal t herapy and rest ored by cast core porcelain fused to met al crown . T he rest orat ion ef fect was assessed at t he 3rd , 6th , 12th , and 24t h mont h. Results T he st rength of dental prost hesis ret ention, marginal f it ness, and st rengt h of crow ns w ere sat isfact ory. T he eff ect ive rate reached 95. 12% during t he 2 year f ollowup.
