And researches have been undertaken on the affect of tem- perature, time and the sample weight of dry distillation at low temperature on the remained vola- tile content of semi coke of fine coal and lump coal. T he experiment show s that the remained vol- atile content of semi coke is measured reducing as the temperature, the sample weight and the dry distillation time is increasing. H owever, when the time passes a certain period, the remained vol- atile content of semi coke starts to increase. In addition, the residual rate of volatile content of semi coke of lump coal and fine coal after dry distillation show s different performances at different temperature ranges.
