Aloha Loyalty Web Service Overview This document describes the application programming interface (API) for the Aloha Loyalty Web Service that can be utilized by customers to query and/or update the Aloha Loyalty database tables via their consumer website using the methods described in this document. System Requirements To communicate with the Aloha Loyalty Web Service, the consumer website must be able to communicate with /insightws/MemberLinkWS?wsdl via https using port 443. The web service uses WS-Security (OASIS). The client interface can be built with .NET 2.0/3.5 (VS 2005 or VS 2008, respectively) or Java. There are three validation points required in each request, an envelope user name and password, a company ID and an Aloha Loyalty Web Service user name and password. To obtain the envelope credentials and company ID, please contact Support@AlohaE. To obtain the Aloha Loyalty Web Service user name and password, please see the “Configuring the Company User ID and Password section below. There is also a pre-production server available for use. As new function become available, they will be deployed first to the pre-prod environment. By default both the production and pre-production web servers will process transaction against you production Aloha Loyalty database.
