It is readily obtained by modifying the circuit of a a-stable multivibrator: van Silfhout EE4101 Lecture 7 2 Relaxation oscillators A single trigger pulse on the trigger input of the circuit results in a pulse at the output of the circuit. The duration of that pulse is determined by the RC time constant j ust like in the case of the astable multivibrator.
