An important aspect of management is how to arouse peoples enthusiasm, that is, incentive problems. Because peoples job performance not only depends on ability, but also depends on the degree of motivation. The mathematical formula is expressed as: work performance =402; (capability = motivation). Western scholars have already noticed this problem, and have put forward many theories and methods. Taylors scientific management, emphasize incentives. Behavioral representatives such as Mayo and Maslow emphasize caring for people, respecting people, and emphasizing peoples needs. After that, Dulake tried to combine the two to form a new theory. After World War II, some new theories and methods emerged. These theories and methods have played an important role in a certain period and a certain extent, and have important reference value for us.
