Research on inventory- routing problem with revenue- sharing contract

Abstract: This paper studies the inventory-routing problem of a supply chain consisting of one depot
and many outlets w hen demand is deterministic. A parallel genetic algorithm nested w ith C-W savings
algorithm and genetic algorithm is proposed to obtain the optimal order period and distribution sched-
ule w ith decentralized supply chain and concerted supply chain. The profits of these tw o supply chains
are compared. It is concluded that revenue sharing contract can improve the benefit of the supply chain
system and the partners, and the bounds of revenue-sharing factor are obtained. Finally , the efficien-
cy of the algorithm is analyzed and proved by using the data of Chery Automobile Co. , Ltd.
