With a contradictory and complex personality, Byron regards passion as the source of creation; with sarcasm as his keynote, he creates not only proud and aloof Byronic heroes but also champions for democracy. nd Shelley whose character is enthusiastic and simple holds imagination the highest, , in poetry and enthusiastic praise is his gist the images he creates are mostly confident optimists, ; in pursuit of liberty.
