Researches show that endplate bolted connection of the SC beam and RC column specmi en had enough energy dissipation capacity and stable hysteretic characteristic. Y ielding capacity and u ltmi ate capacity of th is connection are less influenced by the rations of transverse steel and the arrangement of stee,l and the degree of shear connection of compositebeam, while the ductility is influenced by these two param eters obv iously. The increase of the rations of transverse steel add to the ductility of connections; and the increase of degree of shear connection lead to stronger deform ability.
