臺灣兩棲爬行動物生物多樣性 The Biodiversity of Amphibians Reptiles in Taiwan 呂光洋1*、毛俊傑2、林思民1、林彥博1、黃詠承1 Kuang-Yang Lue1*, Jean-Jay Mao2, Si-Min Lin1, Yen-Po Lin1 and Yung-Cheng Huang1 1國立臺灣師範大學生命科學系 2國立宜蘭大學自然資源學系 1Department of Life Science, National Taiwan Normal University 2Department of Natural Resources, National Ilan University 摘要 臺灣位於亞熱帶地區，又因歐亞板塊與菲律賓板塊的擠壓，造成臺灣的地形結構在海拔高度變化大，使得臺灣具有相當多樣的棲環境。臺灣位於東洋及古北生物地理區交界地帶，生物相十分豐富，且生物相的形成與歐亞大陸、東亞島嶼等鄰近地區有相當密切的關係。臺灣的兩棲爬行動物總計約有種，其中有種為臺灣特有種，以臺灣總面積只有約36000平方公里而言，其特有種的比例相當高。臺灣的兩棲類總共有7科37種。其中有尾目有1科5種，5種均為特有種。無尾目則有6科32種，1種特有種。臺灣的爬行類總共有科種。其中蜥蜴亞目有6科3種，1種特有種。蛇亞目有科5種，為特有種。龜鱉目有5科 11種。 臺灣高聳的山脈林立，對於棲息在臺灣的兩棲爬行動物而言，是否會造成基因交流的阻隔導致在臺灣中尚有隱種(cryptic species)尚未發現 關鍵詞：兩棲動物、爬行動物、生物多樣性、臺灣 Abstract Taiwan is located on the east edge of Asian continent with a total of 360000 km2 of surface area. The unique geographical locality and the wide variation on elevation provide various types of habitats for plants and animals. This leads to the high biodiversity in this island, especially on species diversity of plants and animals. Currently there are about 145 species of amphibians and reptlies are recorded, among these 36 species and 9 subspecies are endemic to Taiwan only. In amphibians, 7 families and 37 species are recorded including anura and urodela . As for reptiles, 6 families and 38 species of lizards, 6 families, 59 species of snakes, and 5 families, 11 species of turtles were recorded. There are 5 mountain chains in this island and these produce a great isolation effect for the distribution of animals especially for those live in high elevation areas. We suspect that certain undescribed species are waiting for description in the herpetofauna of Taiwan. Keywords: amphibian, reptile, biodiversity, Taiwan 引言： 臺灣地處亞熱帶，四面環海，長期受板塊運動的影響下，地形複雜，島內 高山林立，植群類型龐雜，塑造出多樣性相當高的生態系，而多樣的棲息環境中孕育了豐富的自然資源，使得臺灣生物的多樣性相當高。在討論到生物多樣性這個議題時，最先討論到的就是物種多樣性，知道一個地區中擁有多少的物種便能初步的瞭解一個地區的生物多樣性程度為何。如何維護生物多樣性已是全球共同矚目的課題，生物資源調查是瞭解生物多樣性、分布與棲息環境等資料的基礎工作，為了物種的保育及棲地的維護，必須進行生物資源的調查與研究，建立一套完整的物種名錄，是維護生物
