The results show that the crust represents obviously layere structures in the areas. The boun ary interface between lower an upper crust is etermine by means of reliable reflecte wave group P3, which can be trace continuously in the crust. The thickness of the upper crust is 23~ 28km an the epth of Moho is 39~ 43km. The eepest Moho of this region locate beneath the Wutai mountain area. In the Wutai mountain an its a jacent areas, the crust structures have strong inhomogeneous characteristics. The existence of abnormal lowvelocity bo ies in the uppercrust in a
