Abstract: By analyzing factors which influence sealing characteristics as the normal pressure on two fault walls,
lithology co-relationship, and gypsum mudstone smear analysis, the fault sealing characteristics were studied. Integrated
fault sealing characteristics and fault sealing, opening, and its relation with hydrocarbon accumulation were researched in
Gudongshan tectonic belt of west part of Bachu fault-rif
