Nanchong municipal public security bureau,Nanchong Sichuan 637000,China) 【Abstract】Objective：To analyze the sex differences, agecause and motivation of unnatural death and sudden death. Methods：Forensic autopsy date of 3014 case of unnatural deathsudden death were studied during 2005～2009 in the nine counties of Northeast Sichuan Province. Results：① The male and female proportion is 1.9. The peak age was l 5～45 years. he major dead time was in summer and winter, at 10~13h.②The peak age of sudden death was 40～65 years. The major cause of sudden death were cardiovascular system disease and central nervous system disease. ③The major cause of murderous death were wound hemorrhage shock, skull wound and cardiopulmonary wound. The major intention of murderous death was dispute. ④The major cause of suicide death were pesticide intoxication, hanging and drown. The major intention of suicide death were psychosis and frustration. Conclusions: The rate of dissection needs to be improved; Awareness of adolescent’s psychological and physiological problems needs to be strengthened；According to the different qualitative of unnatural death and sudden death, it is valuable to take some corresponding preventive measures for appraisal conclusion’s more just, objective and confident. 【Key words】forensic；autopsy；statistical法医学上指由外部作用导致的死亡，包括火灾、溺水等自然灾难；或工伤、医疗事故、交通事故、自杀、他杀、受伤害等人为事故。猝死指平时貌似健康的人，因潜在的自然疾病突然发作或恶化，而发生的急骤死亡。l2月5年间3014例非正常死亡以及猝死案件的尸体法医尸检资料，纳入资料按案件性质分为他杀案件、自杀事件、猝死（限于出现症状后24小时内死亡者）、意外事件（火灾、溺水等自然灾难、工伤、医疗事故、交通事故）四大类。 1.2 方法 制订统计登记表，按统一标准和要求，分类进行统计，包括研究对象的一般情况（包括年龄、性别、文化程度）、死亡时间、死因和动机等。所有数据采用excel软件录入计算机建立数据库，采用SPSS for windows 13．0统计软件包
