Abstract In order to meet the demand for manufacturing solid core and hollow insulators with
white and/or grey glaze in iso -static processing workshop, experimental works were made on white
(grey) glaze recipes On basis of white glaze recipe, 16 compositions were worked out in consideration
with properties of various additives Through four experiments composition 16# was selected which
composes 100 g of white glaze, 05 g of dispersant, 02 g each of water obstructing age
