Abstract Thispaper studies the three tmi es design of the voltagecontrolled secondorder lowpass filter,
including system design, parameter design and tolerance error design. The proper parameter in practice is
studied. The best parameter combination is found out. The last step is to broaden the tolerance of the compo
nents in order to deduce the costwithout affecting the quality. The purpose of the design is to try to obtain the
best result for parameter and tolerant error, enhances the quality of the product and decrease the production
cost.
