Rational design of a vehicle powertrain mounting system could significantly reduce vehicle vibration and noise, hence improve vehicle ride comfort. Based on vibration theory, the mechanical and mathematical models of the powertrain mounting system have been built in this paper. The rational natural frequency allocation of the powertrain mounting system and system energy decoupling are optimized in the design.
