Architectural Engineering November 2013, Volume 1, Issue 3, PP.83-87 Experiment Research on the Mixture Ratio and Characteristics of Tunnel Lining of Steel Fiber- reinforced Concrete Wenlu Wang †, Jianfeng Zhang Resources and Environmental Engineering Department, Henan Institute of Engineering, Henan Zhengzhou 451191 †Email: wangwenlu1983@163.com Abstract The steel fiber reinforced concrete would reduce the cross-section area of the tunnel, improve the stability of the tunnel, reduce workloads and save costs. In order to study the mechanical properties and engineering characteristics of steel fiber reinforced 3 3 3 3 3 concrete, the shear wave section steel fibers which dosage were 0kg/m , 40kg/m , 50kg/m , 80kg/m and 120kg/m were joined into the concrete. We carried out compressive strength and tensile strength experiment and calculated the optimum mixture ratio of 3 steel fiber reinforced concrete. The results show that when the shear wave section steel fiber content is 50kg/m , the compressive strength and tensile strength of the steel fiber reinforced concrete reach maximum. The compressive strength of steel-fiber- reinforced shotcrete is less than that of indoor by 4.5%. The tensile strength of steel-fiber-reinforced shotcrete is less than the one indoor by 8.8%.
