2013 1 4~7 CHEMICAL DEFENCE ON SHIPS №1,4~7 GB18918-2002 B Application of Constructed Wetland to Rural Domestic Sewage Treatment and Project Design Bai Zhen-guang, Chen Xian-ming (The 718th Research Institute of CSIC, Handan 056027, China) Abstract: According to the characteristics of rural domestic sewage with simple composition and low concentration, combining with the original mountain terrain features, the constructed wetland treatment process with composite anaerobic and drop contact oxidation pond is proposed. Through the transformation of the original, using the natural slope, the optimization design of the anaerobic pool, water contact oxidation tank and subsurface flow constructed wetland is made, and water is better than the “Discharge standard of pollutants for municipal wastewater treatment plant (GB18918-2002) level B discharge standard. The design shows that the combined process of the constructed wetland treatment is characterized with high efficiency, low investment, simple operation and maintenance, which can be used as an important method for the treatment of rural domestic sewage.
