Observation of the Immediate Effect to the ST-T Segment on EKG by Retaining Needles or Not on “lingtai” and “shendao” points in Coronary Heart Disease Speciality：Acupuncture and Moxibustion Author ：Li Li Chengjia Tutor ：Tan Tan Qiwen Abstract Objective: This study is to observe and compare the immediate effect of the ST-T segment on EKG in coronary heart disease by acupuncturing lingtai and shendao points by retaining needles or not ，and to certify that retaining needles whether has the superior amelioration effect for CHD. Method: In order to reduce error, the open-controlled study was selected.30 coronary heart disease(CHD) patients were divided by means of random number table into retaining-needles group and not-retaining-needles group. The changes of immediate effect of ST-T segments in Ⅱ、Ⅲ、avF leads and V 、V 、V leads of each group were observed 4 5 6 before and 10mins after the treatment. In order to avoid the errors from additive and delaying effect, both observations should be 7 days apart. Results: The ST segment in Ⅱ、Ⅲ、avF leads of not-retaining-needles groups had no significant differences before and after treatment(P0.05), but retaining-needles group had a significant difference(P0.05). The T waves in Ⅱ、Ⅲ、avF leads of not-retaining-needles group had no significant differences before and after treatment, but retaining-needles group had a significant difference(P0.05). The ST-T segment in V 、V 、V leads of both groups 4 5 6 had a significant difference before and after treatment (P0.05).The difference value between groups of the ST-T segme
