2. pre shrinking (pre - Shrinking)
Pre shrinking is a physical process to reduce shrinkage of fabric after immersion to reduce shrinkage. When the hydrophilic fiber is soaked and soaked, the fibers swell and the diameter of warp and weft yarns increases, thus increasing the warp buckling wave height, shortening the fabric length and forming shrinkage. When the fabric is dried, the swelling disappears, but the friction between the yarns keeps the fabric in a state of shrinkage. Mechanical pre shrinking is to wet the fabric first by spraying steam or spray, and then applying mechanical extrusion, so that the buckling wave height increases, and then it is dried by pine. The shrinkage of the pre shrunk cotton fabric can be reduced to below 1%, and the softness of the fabric feel will be improved due to the mutual extrusion and rubbing of the fiber and yarn. The wool fabric can be treated by relaxation and pre shrinking, and the fabric will be dried slowly after being soaked or sprayed with steam, so that the fabric will shrink in warp and weft direction.
