He got aboard the train. She came aboard a plane. He went aboard a horse. NOTE: aboard也可用作副词，如下例所示： He came aboard of the ship. about 表示“在……各处”、“向……各处”、“在……周围”、“在……附近”、“在……身边”等空间位置；又引申表示“大约”、“即将”、“关于”、“从事于”等意思。 A.“向……各处”、“在……各处” We wandered about the city on our first evening there.
