It discusses the features in the constructional design and material selection for the cable,focus being laid on how to select the flame retardant polyether type of polyurethane TPE to replace chloroprene rubber as the material for outer sheath.This paper present in detail the characteristics, application and selection of the polyether type of polyurethane as well as the features of the extrusion process and matters needing attention.
