In inquiring instruction, students can percept and understand knowledge effectively, construct knowledge, obtain emotional experience, master the solutions to solve problems, and then develop the spirit of exploration and the ability to innovate under the guidance and inspiration of teachers and through the autonomous, independent exploration activities of students. This thesis starts from the background and the overall objective of the new curriculum reform, introduces the basic theory of inquiring instruction based on the predecessor’s results, The basic characteristics of the inquiry teaching and The implementation steps of scientific inquiry teaching. Finally, the thesis discusses the misapplications and difficulties in inquiring instruction and offers corresponding strategies to ensure the application of physics inquiring instruction successfully. Keywords: scientific exploring; inquiring instruction; physics of middle school; 1.引言 2.1科学探 究式教学的形成与发展 在西方科学教育的变革发展历程中，“探究”的思想由来已久，它最初的雏形可以追溯到希腊哲学家苏格拉底的教学方法。苏格拉底的问答教学法，主张教学过程中，不直接向学生传授知识，而是通过激发学生自己思索寻求结论。卢梭的自然主义教育也体现了探究的思想，卢梭倡导教育要适应儿童的自然本性，主张凡是儿童能从经验中学习的事物，都不要他们从书本中去学，而经验主要来源于行，来源于探究。1853年，德国教育家第斯多惠在其著作《德国教师的培养指南》中，首次提出要将探究发现作为教学理念和方法用于科学教育中。他倡导教学要引导学生在观察简单的事实或现象的基础上进行思考，并且通过教学不但要让学生通过发现掌握知识，还要让学生明白发现知识的途径和方法[3]。随后，英国教育家阿姆斯特朗也在其教育理论著作《科学方法的教学》(1903)中提出了要把科学探究发现的方法，引入到科学教学中去的主张，并且全面研究
