College of Animal Science and Technology，China Agricultural University，Beijing 100094，China） Abstract:From July 2008 to March 2011, the environmental adaptability, growth, disease resistance, reproductive performance of nine Montbeliard breeding bulls derived from imported embryo transplant were measured and analyzed.Results showed in the age of 30 months average height and average testicular circumference were 151.89 cm and 42.11 cm,respectively;Average weight and average daily gain were 922.67 kg and 0.959 kg,respectively. Initial semen collection was in 10 months old and formal semen collection in 24 months old; The average volume per ejaculate was 6.20 ml,fresh sperm viability of 73.2%,density of 1308300000/ml,average utilization rate of 82.8%, average frozen semen of 40606; Semen energy exceeded 0.4,rate of abnormal sperm was less than 15%.The quality of bovine frozen semen could meet the national standard GB4143-2008.Results showed that Montbeliard breeding bulls from imported embryo transplant had a good adaptability,strong disease resistance and breeding performance in northern region. Key words：Embryos transfer;Montbeliard;Breeding bull;Adaptability 蒙贝利亚牛Montbeliard）为西门塔尔牛的一个类型，原产于法国东部的道布斯县18世纪瑞士的胭脂红花斑牛长期选育而成Joseph Graber在兰格瑞斯农业展览时，对其培育的牛首次称作“蒙贝利亚”，1889 年在世界博览会上官方正式承认该品种并予以登记注册[1,2]。该品种深受各国养牛者的爱戴，19 世纪以来许多国家和地区开始引进，目前已成为世界品种。 原产地特殊的地理条件，如山区、大陆性气候、冬冷夏热等 ，使该品种具有显著的耐受性，并以其乳肉兼用、适应性强、耐高寒、耐粗饲，饲料转化率高、抗病力强、寿命长而著称。其主要特点为乳肉兼用，泌乳性能仅次于荷斯坦牛，乳脂率和乳蛋白率较高，牛奶特别适合制作奶酪。在法国被列为主要的乳用品种之一，登记在册的母牛达40 万头，成母牛单产近7500 kg，乳脂率3.
