T he silt is from the roadbed of ra ilroad in T angzhang tow n, Xuzhou c ity. Seven sets o f tests w ere carried out w ith dynam ic triax ial apparatu s. T he lique fact ion resistance affected by fines content and dry density o f silt w as ana lyzed. T he dynam ic m odels of developm ent of po re w ater pressure and residual stra in of silt are suggested by fitting a curve to the test resu lts, and the param eters o f these m ode ls are provided.
