视点制约语篇意义认知解读.doc

视点制约语篇意义认知解读摘 要：在最近的语言学和文学学科中,语篇视点一直受到广泛的关注, 但仍缺乏系统考察和分析（赵秀凤，2006）。有关视点的文献都没涉及语篇视点与语言形式之间的本质关系。本文拟在Roger Fowler教授和熊沐清教授对语篇视点研究的基础上，提出语篇视点对语篇意义的理解有着直接的制约作用。本文拟从视点、语言形式、概念整合理论及语篇意义理解这几者之间的关系来构建一个认知模型，以让读者更清晰地了解这一制约作用的机制。 关键词：语篇视点；语篇意义理解；概念整合理论；语言形式；制约作用 中图分类号：H313 文献标识码：A 文章编号：1009-0118（2012）08-0302-02 1.Introduction Since the 1970s, Linguists resorted POV to analyzing tense-choosing, discourse-development and discourse coherence and so on. Some Chinese researchers have also begun their researches into this field. Yet, both the western and Chinese scholars did not pay much attention to the issue how point-of-view itself can restrict to the construction of the textual meaning. Also, they did not scientifically decode and vertically analyze the process that how the textual message are chosen and combined selectively by point-of-view 2.Definition of POV Edgar V. Roberts and Henry E Jacobs has pointed out that point-of-view may be considered as the centralizing or guiding intelligence in a work——(Henry E. Jacobs, 1995). Li Pei contends that point-of view is the preliminary point for novel?s conceiving. (Li Pei, 2003). However, these definitions are non-essence-concerned, They are just functionally spoken, which can not reach the higher level to its essence. Therefore, essentially and linguistically speaking, Professor Xiong Muqing holds that POV is a kind of schemas which crucially affects the surface structure of the text, reflects people?s angle and attitude towards the object world, decides and dominates the choosing and combining of the information of the text, Such definition is the abstraction of point-of-view?s essence. The author adopts Professor Xiong Muqing?s opinion. 3.Conceptual Integration Theory Conceptual Integration Theory plays a fundamental role in the construction of meaning in everyday life.
