In June 1, 2009, General Motors Corporation formally filed for bankruptcy protection, the fourth largest bankruptcy in U. S. history and the biggest bankruptcy in us manufacturing. GM has long held the top of the worlds top 500 companies, and it was once the largest enterprise in the world, but now it has gone bankrupt and restructured, and the reasons for its failure have attracted the attention of many entrepreneurs.
