First, what is ancient Chinese?
As the name suggests, ancient Chinese is the language used by the ancient Han people. It is relative to modern chinese. The ancient Chinese written language there are two systems: one is to the oral English which is based on the ancient Chinese written language and the written language written by generations of works, which are the classical Chinese; one is the later formed in the northern dialect on the basis of the ancient vernacular. For example, Zen quotations in Tang Dynasty and Five Dynasties, song Bianwen etc.. This style originated in the ancient vernacular Chinese Han Dynasty, matured in the late Tang Dynasty and five dynasties.
