美国红橡木基本知识介绍(Introduction to basic knowledge of red oak in the United States) Introduction to basic knowledge of red oak in the United States Brief and thorough introduction to American hardwood grading rules. The rule has been in place for more than 100 years and is the predecessor of the newly formed national Hardwood Lumber Association (NHLA). This guide focuses on the illustration of the major grades of the 10 important hardwoods in the United states. In the production of hardwood products, boards are often sawn into small pieces of clean wood (surfaces), and grades are based on the size and quantity of a small piece of wood (surface) that can be sawed off. The NHLA classification rules are based on furniture trade, providing the measurable percentage of net wood (surface) and non defective wood in each grade. Higher grades of wood provide longer lengths of wood, and ordinary woo
