Abstract—This paper analyzes the characteristics of power requirements of control system are increasingly high, the

and simulation model of diesel engine PID speed control long term stability and quality of marine power control
system and synchronous generator’s AVR+PSS excitation system is increasingly important. In the operation of
control system was built. At last the simulation test of
suddenly add load was did in MATLAB/simulink power system, excitation current of the synchronous
environment. The result shows that the speed control and generator is the main source of reactive power,
excitation control system has well stability, rapidity and
some robustness. sometimes even is the only source. So whether normally,
