It is a program that is becoming compatible with many other programs. There are many programs on the internet that have the option of converting or mapping data into a Google Earth format. With a small amount of html coding, the user gains the ability to show images within description balloons and link to images or other files that are on the internet or the local computer. Downloading Google Earth Google Earth is a free tool available on the internet that is very useful for teaching earth or environmental science.
