Methods: In situ hybridization (ISH) was detected 114 cases of pregnant women and newborns of HBV DNA in PBMC smear. Results: 114 cases of HBsAg positive pregnant women and their newborns PBMC HBV DNA detection rate was 28.07% (32/114 and 32.46% (37/114 PBMC HBV infection in HBsAg positive pregnant women and their newborns between the existence of consistency (Kappa = 0.52, P lt;0.01. Conclusion: confirmed and PBMC HBV infection in HBsAg positive pregnant women and their newborns between the existence of consistency. Methods: In situ hybridization (ISH) was used to detect HBV DNA in PBMC smear from 114 HBsAgpositive mothers and theirs newborns. Results: The positive rates of the PBMC HBV infection of the mothers and their neonates were 28.07% and 32.46%, respectively. There was an agreement of the HBV infection status between the mothers and their newborns (Kappa = 0.52, P lt; 0.01). Conclusion: The result suggests that the HBV infection status from the mothers agrees with that from their newborns.
