Dont consider organizing a million dollar activities for enterprises to bring extraordinary publicity, the long tail theory proposed by Chris Anderson and many of its supporters and critics believe that research, improvement of the recommendation of 10% Netflix will ultimately bring benefits far more than its input. What exactly is a network recommendation system and why does Netflix attach so much importance to it? What impact does it bring to the enterprise? Focus on specific users Recommender systems can be traced to two academics, Negroponte and Kay, who introduced their research results The Architecture Machine and Computer Software in 1970 and 1984, respectively. However, the practical application of this intelligent system is a recent one. With Internet companies such as Amazon. With the success of COM and Netflix, recommender systems are becoming more and more important. Bo, Xiao, and Izak Benbasat believe that recommender systems are software that processes the users personal interests and preferences and makes recommendations accordingly. Weiquan Wang believes that recommender systems are software based on the Internet, based on users personal interests, preferences, and previous shopping behavior records, and so on. Asim, Ansari, Skander, Essegaier, and Rajeev Kohli believe that recommender systems are proxy software that uses user behavior and preference information to filter possible purchase options and make recommendations. Hubl and Trifts believe that it is a tool for users to obtain information about the preferences of a particular product, to understand the bias of the users decision making, and then to make recommendations to the user in the form of a list.
