About preterm uterine chorioamnionitis, fetal membranes endothelin-1 receptor expression on the impact of preterm birth [Abstract] Objective To investigate the uterine chorioamnionitis, fetal membranes endothelin-1 receptor (ETA) expressing the impact of premature Methods preterm gestational age 28 to 36 weeks, 60 patients divided according to preterm placental pathology group of pregnant women infected with 30 cases, premature non-infected group of pregnant women 30 cases in the control group for the same period normal full-term (37 to 41 weeks gestation) pregnant 30 cases; All cases were taken before cesarean section and the lower uterine segment smooth muscle membranes, using immunohistochemistry staining and image analysis in the detection of uterine smooth muscle ETA after labor, fetal membranes was detected. Results preterm uterine smooth muscle cells of pregnant women infected group, ETA cell membranes was significantly higher than normal in preterm and full-term non-infection group group, the differences were statistically significant (P lt;0.01); preterm pregnant non-infected group ETA, although higher than normal levels of foot month group, but the difference was not significant (Pgt; 0.05). Conclusions chorioamnionitis can cause maternal uterine smooth muscle cell membranes ETA expression was significantly increased.
