The secondary development of the CADDS5 software is researched by adopting the computer programming technology. The professional modules of the outfitting equipments as doors, windows and hatchcovers are established through the parametric modelling combined with outfitting construction standards. The three-dimensional modelling of the ship outfitting equipments is designed and then parameterized with the consideration of the unique characteristics of the outfitting pieces on a real ship.
