科学计量学方法论研究若干问题的探讨 摘 要 本文探讨了科学计量学学科方法论系统的构造及相关问题，讨论了科学计 量学三类代表性研究方法:指标法、引文分析法和模型法，并结合案例进行了 说明。在此基础之上，讨论了科学计量学方法论研究当中具有方法论启示意义 的两个重要问题，方法的移植和转换以及定性与定量方法的应用。探讨了科学 的不同类别之分以及各个学科之间的关系，并对科学计量学与其他学科之间的 关系进行了探讨，结合科学计量学当中方法移植的案例进行了说明，并且从理 论上借用隐喻的概念说明了方法移植的基本模式和动机，并且还探讨了方法移 植和转换的可能性及存在的问题。具体讨论了定性与定量方法之间的关系，对 科学计量学当中普遍存在的定性陈述向定量表达现象进行了理论层次的分析， 并讨论了如何进行学科性质判断这个案例。最后提出了可供今后科学计量学方 法论研究的几个问题，并探讨了当前科学计量学研究所面临的困境。 关键词:科学计量学 方法论 隐喻 跨学科 MethodologicalIssuesinScientometrics Abstract Thispaperdiscussestheconstructionofandrelatedissuesinmethodologyof scientometrics.Itillustrates,withdifferentcases,threerepresentativemethodsinthis field:scientometricindicators,citationanalysisandmathematicalmodels.It discussestwoapproachesatthemethodologicallevel:transplantationofmethods fromotherdisciplinesandturningqualitativestatementintoquantitativeproposition. Itdiscussesthemulti/interdisciplinarityofscienceandillustratestypicalcasesof applyingmethodsofotherdisciplinestoscientometrics.Itprobesintotheunderlying principleoftransplantationofmethodsbyusingtheconceptofmetaphorandthen discussesthefeasibilityoftheprocessandproblemsthatmaycomealong.This paperelaboratesontherelationsbetweenqualityandquantity,andthenacasestudy ofinterdisciplinarityismade.Intheenditprovidessometopicsforfurther researches,anddiscussespredicamentofthestatusquoofscientometricsstudies.
