Center, School of Shenzhen Graduate, Qinghua University, Shenzhen 518055, China) Abstract E- F phase difference is one of the important parameters of DVD optical pick- up heads. Analyses and addresses a test method of E- F phase difference of DVD optical pick- up heads based on FPGA. Introduces the design methods of the system including: the model of the optical head, tracking difference and the principle of tracking error photo detectors. Expatiates the pretreatment aspect, the low - pass filter aspect, the binarization treatment aspect and the phase comparator and simulated the modulew ith QUARTUS.
