平阳霉素合并地塞米松治疗颌面部海绵状血管瘤的疗效观察（Observation of curative effect of Pingyang and dexamethasone combined with dexamethasone in treating cavernous hemangioma of maxillofacial region） Abstract: Objective To investigate the Pingyang mycin (PLM) and dexamethasone (DMX) curative effect of intrapleural injection in treatment of maxillofacial cavernous hemangioma. Methods 64 cases of hemangioma were randomly divided into two groups, 32 cases in each group, were given Pingyang mycin and dexamethasone injection (PLM group) and tumor Cod Liver Oil acid sodium injection in the traditional (SM group), compare the toxicity and efficacy of them. The PLM group was 96.88%, 81.25% in SM group, PLM group, side effect was less than that of SM group. Conclusion Pingyang mycin and dexamethasone injection in treatment of cavernous hemangioma is a safe and effective method, simple easy and exact effect and little side effect, it is worthy of clinical promotion. Hemangioma can cause facial, lip, tongue and other parts of the deformity and dysfunction, surgery and non-surgical treatment methods have their limitations. This group of cases with Pingyang mycin (Pingyangmycin, PYM) and dexamethasone (DMX) combined with intracavitary injection in the treatment of maxillofacial cavernous hemangioma, and the traditional Cod Liver Oil acid sodium (Sodium Morrhuate, SM) were studied by intratumoral injection method. The results are summarized as follows. 1 data and methods 1.1 general information, from January 2001 to June 2005, 64 patients with maxillofacial hemangioma were treated, including 25 males and 39 females, aged 1~52 years, with an average age of 12.5 years.
