The sensitivity was high and the reproducibility was good. The absorbance was linear in the range of 2~14 G. The samples of 32 batches of 4 manufacturers were determined. The result showed that the content of arsenic in Radix Isatidis granules ranged from 0.312 to 1.011 ppm. The method is simple, quick and effective. The linear range is 2 ~ 14 g. The contents are of 0.312 by ~ 1.011 ppm determining 32 samples from 4 factories.
