It is not infectious in itself, but it is often accompanied by hepatitis B virus, so it is a sign of HBV infection. It can be found in the patients blood, saliva, milk, sweat, tears, nasopharynx secretions, semen and vaginal secretions. 2~6 months after the hepatitis B virus infection, positive results were detected in serum 2~8 weeks before the elevation of alanine aminotransferase. The majority of patients with acute hepatitis B can turn negative at the early stage of the disease. The indicators of chronic hepatitis B are positive. There are many indicators of hepatitis B virus replication, such as HBsAg, HBV-DNA, anti -HBclgM and so on. The simplest and inexpensive way is to check the five indicators of hepatitis B. If HBsAg, HBeAg and anti HBc three positive (that is, the greater Third World), the blood is highly contagious; if the anti -HBe positive, its blood infectivity is lower.
