The coupled resonant inductors were in the auxiliary resonant circuit and the topology was relatively simple, which could reduce the cost of hardware. When DC-bus voltage decreased to zero via the resonance of the auxiliary circuit, zero-voltage operation of all main switching devices in inverter could be realized. Auxiliary switching devices could also be operated under soft-switching in the resonant process. Furthermore, the duration time of zero voltage was freely selected and was independent of load current and resonant parameters. The operation principle was analyzed based on the equivalent circuits at different operation modes. The conditions of soft-switching and the control method of the inverter were also achieved.
